Write 31 - 2018

For the month of October I'm participating a writing challenge. To write everyday for 31 days on a subject of my choice.

I'm writing about our plant-based lifestyle. I'll cover the how and why of plant-based eating, recipes, food budget and the results we've seen since beginning this journey.

What Is Plant-Based?


Plant-based means just that. We eat only plants. And that's not just salad. We eat all kinds of fruits and veggies including starches (carbs) like corn, potatoes, rice, grains and legumes.

We don't eat anything that comes from (or is) an animal including eggs and dairy products such as milk, hard and soft cheeses, or yogurt.

We try to limit the amount of sugar, salt and oil in our diet.

Occasionally we eat tofu but I'm not wild about it.
