Along with our son we took a took a wonderful, chaotic two week trip to Italy in November 2015...
We flew into Milan and spent one night, walked the city, viewed the Last Supper and rented a car for a drive to Genova to visit the Staglieno cemetery. Our next stop was Levanto where were hiked the Cinque Terre. Then to Tuscany were we spent time at a lovely Airbnb run by Anna Marie. Our next stop was the tiny country of San Marino where we took the cable car up through the clouds. Speaking of clouds our next stop was the breathtakingly beautiful Madonna della Corona a church built into the side of a mountain. On to Rovereto on the southern edge of the Alps where there was an abundance of hiking trails. We got lost physically and in translation numerous times, climbed tall mountains (tall for us at least) ate delicious foods, and drank lots of wine. Wonderful trip!
