Watch the path of your feet and all your ways will be established.
Proverbs 4:26
By the time dinner is over and the kitchen cleaned the sun is usually well on it's way down. Even so we head out the door for our evening walk. A little bug spray and a flashlight are both a must.
The bug spray to keep the skeeters at bay and the flashlight because this is a common sight on the road we walk down...
This is a corn snake - about 3 foot long - stretched out on the pavement catching the last warmth of the day. Not poisonous but still I don't want to step on it!
Walking along at dusk makes me thankful for the flashlight and how the light keeps us safe and on the right path. It is a reminder to me of how Jesus came to shed light in a dark world.
Praise the LORD!

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, "I am the Light of the world; he who follows me will not walk in the darkness but will have the Light of life."

Praise the LORD!
Ick! But a good reminder to pay attention to where our feet are wandering.
